Eligibility Information

Certificated Employees:

Members of the Inglewood Teachers Association (ITA) collective bargaining unit are eligible to participate in the health benefit programs afforded by the District if they are employed in a 69% (5½ hours per day) or greater, full-time assignment.

ITA “job share” unit members are eligible to participate in the health benefit programs afforded by the District by contributing the required premium for the percentage of their assignment not in the District’s employ.

ITA Adult Education unit member teachers are eligible to participate in the health benefit programs afforded by the District by maintaining a 12 hour per week assignment for not less than one semester.

Hourly and substitute employees are ineligible to participate in any of the health benefit programs afforded by the District.

Classified Employee:

Members of the CalPro Local Union #2345 collective bargaining unit are eligible to participate in the health benefit programs afforded by the District if they are employed in a 50% (4 hours per day) or greater, full-time assignment.

CalPro Local Union #2345 part time unit members are eligible to participate in only the dental and vision programs afforded by the District by making the required premium contributions.

Hourly employees are eligible to participate in any of the health benefit programs afforded by the District.

Management Employees:

Management and Confidential Employees are eligible to participate in the health benefit programs afforded by the District if they are employed in a 69% (5½ hours per day) or greater, full-time assignment.

Members of the Board of Education, by virtue of their elected status, are eligible to participate in the health benefit programs afforded by the District.
